NANNING, CHINA — September 17, 2025 — Cambodia highlighted its growing export potential and cultural identity at the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi Province, with a vibrant national pavilion showcasing over ten types of Geographical Indication (GI) products and other high-potential exports.

The opening ceremony was attended by several senior Chinese officials, underscoring the importance of Cambodia-China relations in trade and investment.
Pavilion Inspired by Preah Sihanouk Province
This year’s pavilion, spanning 160 square meters, was designed to reflect the natural beauty and economic promise of Preah Sihanouk province, a coastal region known for its tourism and trade potential. The design featured Khmer architectural elements and sea-wave motifs that captured the province’s lush blue coastline and vibrant culture.
The creative concept aimed to symbolize Cambodia’s openness to investment and trade, especially in sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and cultural industries.
