Petition of Condemnation: Thailand’s War of Aggression Against the Sovereignty of the Kingdom of Cambodia
The Cashew Nut Association of Cambodia (CAC) hereby formally condemns the inhumane, barbaric, and cruel atrocities committed by the Thai military. These actions constitute an invasion of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Cambodia, notably the ongoing firing upon innocent civilians in provinces along the Cambodia-Thailand border from the afternoon of December 7 up to this date, December 25, 2025.
Thailand’s aggressive conduct—marked by the indiscriminate and brutal application of both small arms and heavy weaponry—has led to the deaths and injuries of Cambodian civilians. Numerous schools, pagodas, health centers, households, and critical infrastructure have been destroyed, compelling children, the elderly, men, and women to flee their homes immediately to seek temporary safety. The Thai side has repeatedly violated the ceasefire and the Joint Statement on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, which was signed by the Prime Ministers of both nations and witnessed by H.E. Donald Trump, President of the United States, and H.E. Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and rotating Chairman of ASEAN.

The CAC urges the international community to categorically condemn these repeated violations of the Peace Agreement and Thailand’s illegal actions. We demand that Thailand assume full responsibility for these blatant violations and call for an immediate cessation of all hostilities that threaten regional peace and stability.
Furthermore, the CAC appeals to Thailand to return to strict and good-faith adherence to the ceasefire agreement, the Joint Statement on the Peace Agreement, and all obligations under international law. Thailand must commit to the peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with international legal norms, as well as existing treaties and conventions. We oppose the use of armed force and advocate for a solution that is just, equitable, enduring, and compliant with international law.
Once again, the CAC declares its unequivocal condemnation of the inhumane and cruel acts committed by the Thai military in opening fire upon innocent civilians and the Cambodian armed forces.
