The Cashew Nut Association of Cambodia (CAC) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bank of China, Phnom Penh branch. This strategic agreement aims to foster enhanced collaboration between the two entities, focusing on improving access to credit and providing vital cash flow support specifically for stakeholders in the Cambodia–China cashew sector. By leveraging the financial expertise of the Bank of China, the CAC seeks to empower local cashew farmers, processors, and exporters, thereby promoting sustainable growth and development within the industry. This partnership is expected to streamline financial transactions and improve investment opportunities, ultimately benefiting the local economy and strengthening trade relations between Cambodia and China.
